Why are refractory bricks different colors?

When refractory bricks are fired, if the operation method is improper, it is likely to cause uneven color and color difference. In addition to this reason, there is also a possibility that the temperature or operation method is not in place during the construction process, resulting in chromatic aberration. Next, let's analyze the causes of chromatic aberration.

1. The unreasonable accumulation of bricks in the kiln car, the sparseness and unevenness lead to uneven heating of all bricks by the flame, resulting in uneven heating of bricks during preheating. Moisture in refractory bricks cannot be completely removed before entering the firing zone, resulting in different colors of some refractory bricks.

2. The processing temperature of refractory bricks is not well controlled. Since most of the current tunnel kilns use gas generator gas as fuel, due to different reasons such as coal quality, gas furnace operation and combustion products, the combustion temperature fluctuates too much, causing the temperature of some parking spaces to fluctuate.

3. When the pulling force of the range hood is too large, so that the flame cannot reach the top of the kiln, it is pulled out of the high temperature area in the horizontal direction, resulting in too large temperature difference between the upper and lower sides. Waste, the upper part still does not reach the sintering temperature. When there is a color difference in the refractory brick, the cause must be found out in time to avoid it in the next processing.
