High Alumina Brick:
High alumina bricks are aluminum silicate neutral refractory materials with aluminum oxide (Al2O3) content higher than 48%. It is made of alumina or other raw materials with high alumina content through molding and calcination. The refractoriness of high-alumina bricks is higher than that of clay bricks and semi-silicon bricks, up to 1750 ~ 1790 ℃, which belongs to advanced refractory materials. Because high Al2O3 in high-aluminum products has less impurities and less fusible glass body, the load softening temperature is higher than that of clay bricks, but because mullite crystals do not form a network structure, the load softening temperature is still not as high as that of silica bricks. High alumina bricks have more Al2O3, which is close to neutral refractories, and can resist the erosion of acid slag and alkaline slag. Because it contains SiO2, the resistance to alkaline slag is weaker than that of acid slag. High-alumina bricks are used for lining steel-making electric furnaces, glass melting furnaces, cement rotary furnaces, etc.

Scope of application:
l High Alumina bricks is mainly used for lining of glass melting furnace.
