The main points of the production process of large-scale clay bricks for float glass tank bottoms by vibration casting method are as follows: use clay clinker, mullite fine powder, oxide ultrafine powder and hardener to form a self-hardening mud, and mix the brick-making mud The material is formulated into a mud that has both thixotropy (can be molded by vibration castable) and self-hardening, and can be demolded after a certain period of time after molding. In order to meet the requirements of the molding process, a trace amount of degumming agent and a small amount of depolymerizing agent are appropriately added to the ingredients. Adding a debonding agent can not only reduce the amount of water used from 10% to 13% to 5.5% to 6.5%, but also can obtain a uniform structure; adding a delayed-acting coagulant can simultaneously cure the green body inside and outside, thereby shortening the demold time.

Large-scale clay bricks formed by vibration casting, due to the action of surface tension during the vibration process, most of the gas that can be excluded from the mud exists in a spherical shape, forming closed pores, so the permeability of the brick is low, which can effectively prevent oxygen from passing through the refractory material. The wall diffuses in, thereby avoiding brick cracking due to volume expansion due to the oxidation of metallic tin to tin oxide. Moreover, due to the low air permeability of the brick, its hydrogen diffusivity is also low, which can avoid glass defects caused by bubbles at the bottom of the tin bath, thereby improving the yield of glass.
