Insulation of various parts of glass melting furnace

The following matters should be paid attention to in the insulation of each part of the glass melting furnace.

1. The thermal insulation part is based on the principle of "guaranteed as soon as possible" to expand the thermal insulation surface as much as possible.

2. Note that the interface temperature of the insulation brick should not exceed the bearing temperature of the material.

3. The large kiln, breast wall, small furnace wall and regenerator kiln are used for heat preservation after the kiln.

4. The furnace expansion joint is not insulated.

The following are the commonly used thermal insulation structures for various parts of the glass melting furnace.

(1) Big hull insulation

1. 300mm silica brick + 35mm quartz sand + 65mm light silica brick + 20mm asbestos mud.

2. 300mm silica brick + 50mm quartz sand + 65mm light silica brick + 65mm light clay brick + 20mm asbestos mud.

3. 300mm silica brick + 40mm quartz sand + 115mm light silica brick + 65mm light silica brick + 20mm asbestos mud.

4. 300mm silica brick + 30mm siliceous sealing material + 115mm light silica brick + 50mm siliceous insulation layer material.

(2) Breast wall insulation

1. 350mm silica brick + 65mm light silica brick + 50mm calcium calcium board.

2. 300mm silica brick + 6mm siliceous sealant + 65mm light silica brick + 115mm light high alumina brick + 50mm silicon calcium board.

(3) Pool wall insulation

Fused zirconium corundum brick + 35mm zirconium ramming material + 115mm light clay brick + 50mm silicon calcium plate steel plate.

(4) Pool bottom insulation

1. 70mm fused zirconium corundum brick + 35mm zirconium ramming material + 300mm large cast brick + 280mm light clay brick + 10mm asbestos plate + 8mm steel plate.

2. 70mm fused zirconium corundum brick + 35mm zirconium ramming material + 40mm zircon stone brick + 35mm zirconium ramming material pouring large brick + 280mm light clay brick + 10mm asbestos board + 8mm steel plate.

(5) Heat preservation of small furnace and regenerator

①Small furnace 250mm silica brick + 30mm quartz sand + 115mm light silica brick + 20mm asbestos mud.

②Small furnace wall 350mm silica brick + 6mm siliceous sealing material + 65mm light silica brick + 50mm silicon calcium board.

③The regenerator is 250mm silica brick + 30mm quartz sand + 115mm light silica brick + 20mm asbestos mud.

④Regenerator wall A 230mm clay brick + 115mm light clay brick + 240mm building brick; regenerator wall clay brick + 230mm light clay brick + 20mm thermal insulation coating.
