Magnesia brick is an alkaline refractory material with magnesia content above 90% and periclase as the main crystal phase. Generally, it can be divided into two categories: sintered magnesia bricks and unburned magnesia bricks. Magnesia bricks have the advantages of high refractoriness, good resistance to alkali slag, and high starting temperature for load softening. Unburned magnesia bricks use periclase as the raw material and are crushed, batched, kneaded, pressed, and dried to produce finished products, which are mainly used as checker bricks for regenerators of glass kilns. China is a country with abundant reserves of magnesia resources. The ore texture is excellent. The vast coastline and salt lakes provide convenience for the extraction of magnesia and provide unique conditions for the development of magnesia refractory bricks. Zhengzhou Shennan Refractory Co., Ltd. now introduces a production method of unburned magnesia bricks for glass furnaces. The method uses crushers, batching machines, wheel mills, kneaders, press molding machines, and dryers as the main production equipment. The raw materials used include: 45-50% sintered magnesite, 15-20% waste magnesia brick, 5% iron oxide, 20% clay, 10% sulfite paper pulp, and appropriate amount of water. The method has a series of advantages such as simple operation, high production efficiency, good product quality, environmental protection, and suitability for industrial production.
At the same time, according to the different requirements of the content of the finished product, it can be roughly divided into the following three operation modes.
1. Send the sintered magnesia 45%, waste magnesia bricks 20%, iron oxide 5%, and clay 20% to the pulverizer to pulverize into powder, then send it to the batching machine, add 10% and sulfite paper pulp and appropriate amount of water, then mix all the materials in the batching machine evenly, then send all the materials in the batching machine to the wheel mill for 10 minutes, then send it to the mixer; change the temperature in the mixer raise the temperature to 135℃, stop mixing for 18 minutes, and then send the materials in the mixer to the press forming machine. After the temperature drops to room temperature, the mold is removed to obtain solid bricks; the solid bricks obtained by removing the molds are sent to drying First, adjust the temperature in the dryer to 100°C, and then adjust it to 50°C after 1 hour. After maintaining this temperature for 2 hours, the drying ends, and the magnesia bricks are gradually cooled to room temperature to obtain the finished product.
2. Send 47.5% of sintered magnesia, 17.5% of waste magnesia bricks, 5% of iron oxide, and 20% of clay to the pulverizer to pulverize into powder, then send it to the batching machine and add 10% sulfite paper pulp And a proper amount of water, then mix all the materials in the batching machine evenly, then send all the materials in the batching machine to the wheel mill for 11 minutes, then send it to the mixer; increase the temperature in the mixer When the temperature reaches 140°C, the mixing is stopped for 17 minutes, and then the materials in the mixer are sent to the press forming machine. After the temperature drops to room temperature, the mold is removed to obtain solid bricks; the solid bricks obtained from the molds are sent to the dryer , First adjust the temperature in the dryer to 110°C, then adjust it to 55°C after 1.25 hours, maintain this temperature for 1.75 hours, and then the drying is over. After the magnesia brick is gradually cooled to room temperature, the finished product will be obtained.
3. Send 50% of sintered magnesia, 15% of waste magnesia bricks, 5% of iron oxide, and 20% of clay to the pulverizer to pulverize into powder, then send it to the batching machine, and add 10% sulfite paper pulp And a proper amount of water, then mix all the materials in the batching machine evenly, then send all the materials in the batching machine to the wheel mill for 12 minutes, then send it to the mixer; increase the temperature in the mixer When the temperature reaches 145°C, the mixing is stopped for 16 minutes, and then the materials in the mixer are sent to the press molding machine. After the temperature drops to room temperature, the mold is removed to obtain solid bricks; the solid bricks obtained by removing the molds are sent to the dryer First, adjust the temperature in the dryer to 120°C, and then adjust it to 60°C after 1.0 hour. After maintaining this temperature for 1.5 hours, the drying ends, and the magnesia brick is gradually cooled to room temperature to obtain the finished product.
