.Bricks must be clearly marked. Such as stamping the product inspection certificate and mark on the working surface, and stacking and packaging separately, the bricks should be packaged separately according to the positive and negative tolerances. Fused cast refractory bricks should also indicate the unit weight, nominal size, production date and assembly number of the bricks. The pre-assembled bricks should also provide assembly drawings and photos.
.The packaging of refractory materials for glass kilns shall be in accordance with the requirements of the contract and the relevant standards shall be implemented. Protective measures should be taken for vulnerable parts such as edges and corners. There should be shock-isolating materials between two bricks in the same packing box, and the outer surface of the packing box should be sprayed or written with the name, model, quantity, supplier, user name and rainproof, fragile, transportation, and storage marks of the bricks. The packaging of exported products must comply with the relevant export packaging regulations of the Commodity Inspection Bureau.
.Glass kiln refractory material enterprises must promptly notify the user of the departure date, vehicle number, delivery variety and quantity, and contract number when shipping, and submit the product certificate and test report at the same time. When unshaped refractories leave the factory, they must be accompanied by a construction manual, indicating construction related matters. After the glass company has added the delivery notice of the refractory material company, it should promptly report to the full-time management department, and properly pick up the car and store it.
.Glass companies should set up special storage warehouses for refractory materials. The warehouse should meet the requirements of refractory storage during the construction of the furnace (including the tin bath) and the cold repair. The warehouse floor should be made of concrete to ensure no water seepage, rain and snow, good ventilation, and avoid high temperature and humidity. Refractory materials enterprises should also set up special warehouses, and refractory materials are strictly prohibited to be stored in the open air before leaving the factory.
.Refractories for glass kilns should be stored in the warehouse immediately after they arrive at the glass enterprise, and storage in the open air is strictly prohibited. Refractories of different varieties and specifications (including amorphous refractories) must be stacked separately according to the corresponding requirements, and clearly marked, indicating the type, specification, quantity and storage date of the material. Generally, the principle of first in, first out should be followed. The warehouse should be kept by a dedicated person, and there should be detailed records of entry and exit.
.For time-effective refractory materials (such as alkaline materials and castables, etc.), the storage time should not be too long, and the specific time shall be implemented in accordance with the corresponding product standards. If it has become damp during storage, take measures to remove moisture in time, take samples to check the actual quality, and then decide whether to use it or not. If it can still be used, the low-temperature baking time must be appropriately extended during use. Do not use materials that have been damp and deteriorated.
